Capital & Liquidity Senior Analyst
Location: London / Hybrid
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are working with a financial services organisation seeking a Capital & Liquidity Senior Analyst to join its Finance function.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with approximately two to four years’ experience across finance, treasury, audit or a related discipline who would like to develop broader expertise across cash-flow forecasting, liquidity management, capital analysis and financial risk.
A key focus of the position will be supporting the continued improvement of the firm’s cash-flow forecasting capabilities. The successful candidate will also contribute to the development and implementation of a funds transfer pricing framework.
Key responsibilities
- Produce, maintain and improve short- and medium-term cash-flow forecasts.
- Analyse cash movements, liquidity requirements and variances against forecast.
- Support the monitoring of the firm’s capital, liquidity and funding position.
- Help develop and implement an appropriate funds transfer pricing methodology.
- Undertake financial analysis, scenario modelling and stress testing.
- Contribute to financial planning, going-concern assessments and regulatory reporting.
- Support the preparation of management information and ALCO materials.
- Maintain relevant financial risk metrics, dashboards and early-warning indicators.
- Work closely with colleagues across Finance, Treasury and Risk.
- Help identify opportunities to improve existing financial models, controls and reporting processes.
- Contribute to the firm’s ICARA and wider capital and liquidity management framework.

Experience required
- Approximately two to four years’ experience within finance, treasury, audit, financial analysis or a closely related area.
- Practical experience of cash-flow forecasting, liquidity analysis or financial modelling.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret financial information and explain key findings.
- A sound understanding of financial statements, particularly cash flow and balance-sheet movements.
- Strong attention to detail and the confidence to work with stakeholders across different functions.
- An interest in developing knowledge of funds transfer pricing, capital management and prudential regulation.

Experience of funds transfer pricing would be particularly advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable treasury or finance experience will also be considered.
Candidates who are qualified or studying towards a relevant professional qualification—such as ACT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA—would be highly desirable.
Previous exposure to financial services, regulatory reporting, MIFIDPRU, ICARA or ALCO would be beneficial but is not essential
