About the Role
Oliver James is partnering with a Financial Services organisation to identify a senior Enterprise AI / Capital Markets Advisory Lead for an upcoming strategic engagement.
This role will support a senior business and technology leadership team as they move from AI experimentation into governed, high-value use cases across trading, markets, data and client insight.
Key Areas of Focus
We are particularly interested in speaking with senior consultants or independent advisors who can operate across:
- capital markets, trading, liquidity, execution or market data environments;
- enterprise AI strategy, operating models and governance;
- front-office and markets-led use-case identification;
- client behavioural insight and commercial decision support;
- AI adoption within regulated financial services;
- stakeholder engagement across business, technology, risk and data teams.

This is not a theoretical AI strategy role. The work is expected to focus on real business problems: improving insight, accelerating decision-making, supporting client conversations and identifying opportunities to improve trading or market outcomes.

Relevant Backgrounds
Relevant backgrounds may include capital markets consulting, investment banking, electronic trading, financial data or enterprise AI transformation.
Suitable Candidates
This will suit an experienced associate partner, senior advisor, fractional transformation lead or independent consultant with credibility in front-office capital markets environments.
