This front-office aligned role will work closely with Sales, Trading, Support and Control Functions, Senior Management and key infrastructure teams to drive business growth, strategic delivery, operational efficiency and regulatory readiness across the Capital Markets platform.
A primary focus of the role is to lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional commercial initiatives, requiring strong stakeholder management, the ability to influence senior audiences, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale business change. While experience in Equities is beneficial, the role is suited to someone who can navigate complexity, align stakeholders and execute effectively in a regulated environment.
This is a hands-on role for someone comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle project execution and day-to-day business management.

- Support development of scalable operating models, governance frameworks and management information.
- Ensure clear escalation and resolution of issues, risks and dependencies.
Strategic Projects and Change Delivery
- Lead or support large, business-critical initiatives, including new business launches, capability buildouts and regulatory-driven change.
- Define project scope, operating models, milestones and delivery plans across multiple stakeholders.
- Drive execution across complex, cross-functional programmes with competing priorities and dependencies.
- Ensure delivery is underpinned by strong governance, clear accountability and effective stakeholder communication.
- Influence and align stakeholders across business, infrastructure and control functions to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Support initiatives spanning product expansion, market entry, infrastructure development and process transformation.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
