About the Role

You are part of a highly motivated sales team in Capital Markets responsible for the distribution of Fixed Income products to Institutional Clients in UK/Ireland/Nordics. Your clients include Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Pension Funds, and Insurance Companies. You will collaborate with various business units within RBI to provide cutting-edge services to your clients, enhance client relationships, and ultimately increase revenue.

Your Mission at RBI

  • Execute Fixed Income products in Flow and Structured products (Sales/Trading), including Government Bonds, Covered Bonds, Corporate Bonds, Derivatives, and Private Placements in hard and CEE local currencies
  • Analyze clients and markets to develop sales strategies to broaden the client base, increase cross-sell potential, and overall profitability. Deepen existing client relationships and acquire new clients in UK/Ireland/Nordics
  • Represent RBI’s product offering to your clients through interactive calls, investor updates, and personal meetings
  • Collaborate with various departments such as Trading, DCM, Syndicate, Research, Capital Markets Data & Solutions
  • Develop new products and trading ideas together with Fixed Income Trading, Capital Markets Data & Solutions, and Desk Strategy

Your Core Competencies

  • University degree or equivalent in a finance relevant subject (Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.)
  • A minimum of three years of working experience in Fixed Income Sales
  • Knowledge of Institutional Clients in UK, Ireland, and Nordics, especially Asset Managers and Pension Funds; personal relationship with portfolio managers and execution traders
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income products such as Bonds, Private Placements, and Derivatives
  • Experience in CEE/CIS markets or Emerging Markets coverage is beneficial
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. MiFID)
  • Good analytical skills; experience in Capital Markets applications such as Bloomberg, Marketaxess, and Tradeweb
  • Excellent communication skills; fluent in English; German/Nordic language is beneficial
  • The job requires traveling to Vienna frequently to meet stakeholders
