Eames are working with a leading global specialty insurance platform on two hires within a growing Capital Placement team in London.
The team sits at the centre of a multi-billion-dollar delegated authority portfolio, working with MGAs across a broad range of classes to structure and secure capacity from Lloyd’s, company, and international markets.
The roles offer exposure well beyond traditional binder placement, with the team working on a range of portfolio and capital solutions including syndicated capacity structures, alternative capital arrangements, and other bespoke solutions for the delegated authority market.

The positions will involve working closely with MGA leadership teams to understand capacity requirements, analysing portfolio performance and large data sets, developing market strategies, and negotiating solutions with carriers. There will also be significant interaction with senior stakeholders across the UK and US.
They are open-minded on background and would be interested in speaking with individuals from portfolio management, underwriting, delegated authority broking, reinsurance, or actuarial backgrounds. Strong analytical ability is essential alongside the commercial judgment and relationship skills to operate with senior stakeholders.
