We’re working with a well-established and growing engineering business looking to recruit an experienced Southern Regional Sales Manager to join their UK sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with proven experience selling capital plant or capital equipment into engineering or manufacturing environments. This is a field-based role where you'll be responsible for developing new business, managing key customer relationships, and delivering high-value technical solutions across a defined Southern territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts across the Southern region
  • Manage the full sales cycle for high-value capital plant and equipment solutions
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and distribution partners
  • Identify new market opportunities and maximise sales growth
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial presentations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer solutions
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM system

Requirements:

  • Proven success within a technical field sales role
  • Previous experience selling capital plant or capital equipment is essential
  • Engineering or manufacturing industry background is essential
  • Experience managing long sales cycles and high-value projects
  • Strong business development and key account management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage a large sales territory independently
