What you’ll be responsible for

Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Town Planner to join the Capital Delivery Enabling Services team. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and experience of the Town and Country Planning process, as well as associated consenting requirements, including SAB approval, and will be able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively within regulatory and project deadlines.

You will be responsible for providing expert technical advice and support as part of the Enabling Services team to ensure projects are delivered in line with programme requirements and associated regulatory commitments as part of the AMP8 business plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the performance, training and development of direct reports in accordance with all Human Resources policies and procedures, including regular contact, one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.
  • Undertaking any other duties required to meet the needs of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
