Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist– Barts Heart Centre

Band 5

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist to work in our team providing Cardiac Rehabilitation phase III and IV.

The post is based at Barts Heart Centre and Local Tower Hamlets Community. You will be required to work at different trust sites occasionally.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual, who is flexible, confident, and able to work independently within a multi-professional team.

Key Aspects of the Post

The key aspects of the post include delivery and evaluation of a comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation service. The applicant must hold BACPR Level 4 Exercise instructor qualification to be considered for this role.

To Identify, develop and implement appropriate monitoring systems to enable comprehensive service evaluation of the physical activity / exercise component. Engage in effective partnership working to promote quality, continuity of care and a cost-effective service.

To maintain a high standard of care, taking charge of own patient caseload as required. Liaise closely with the Senior Sister /Charge nurse with continuing responsibility.
