Job description:

All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK by the start of employment as we are not able to offer sponsorship.


We’re looking for 2 kind, compassionate and resilient Care and Support Workers to join our Team at Time4U!

£12.71 per hour, working 30-36 hours per week, must be available every 2nd weekend.

What you’ll do:

  • Support people with a range of mental and learning disabilities to live as independently and confidently as possible.
  • Help with everyday tasks like personal care, preparing meals, taking medication, and keeping their home comfortable.
  • Encourage and assist people to get involved in their communities, whether that’s social activities, learning, volunteering, or work.
  • Be a trusted presence, offering emotional support and helping to build confidence and life skills.
  • Work closely with families, colleagues, and health professionals to make sure each person gets the right support.
  • Keep clear, accurate notes and always follow our guidelines to keep everyone safe, respected, and well cared for.
  • Administer medication, keep clear and concise records of everything dispensed and be vigilant and confident in all situations.

About you:

  • Loves connecting with people especially 1-1, and must be comfortable doing Personal Care + 1-1 Activities.
  • Stays calm, kind, and open-minded, even when things get tough and handle challenges with empathy and resilience.
  • Builds trusting, respectful relationships with people we support, families, and colleagues through honest and thoughtful communication.

What you’ll bring:

Essential:

  • Must have some previous relevant sector work experience involving working with those with mental health needs and/or those with learning disabilities (1 Year Min)

Desirable:

  • In-depth understanding of working with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Knowledge of Care Home placements and an understanding of risk management that comes along with this.
