Health Care Assistant – Make a Difference Every Day

At Valley Care Direct, we're looking for compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our friendly, family-focused team. Every day, you'll help people remain independent in the comfort of their own homes while providing companionship, dignity, and support when they need it most.
You don't need previous care experience – just a caring nature, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help others. We'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

Available Shift Patterns
Part-time Positions Available
- 7:00am – 3:00pm
- 3:00pm – 10:00pm
- Alternate weekends required
What Will You Be Doing?
As a Health Care Assistant, no two days are the same. You may be:
- Supporting people with personal care, including washing, dressing, bathing, and toileting
- Assisting with mobility and helping people safely use equipment and aids
- Preparing meals, snacks, and drinks
- Supporting individuals with medication
- Helping with household tasks such as laundry, bed making, tidying, and light cleaning
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with end-of-life care where required
- Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times

What We're Looking For
- Right to work in the UK
- A driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred
- Compassionate, caring, and respectful individuals
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
