Care Professionals – Basildon & Surrounding Areas

🌟 Support Independence. Bring Comfort. Make a Real Impact. 🌟

Now recruiting: Compassionate, reliable Care Professionals to join our Basildon branch team.

What Exactly Is Homecare?

Unlike hospital or residential care, community homecare enables vulnerable adults to remain safely and happily in their own homes. As a Care Professional, you won’t just be ticking off tasks—you’ll be building relationships, providing vital companionship, and helping people maintain their dignity and independence.

Your role could involve:

  • Sharing a cup of tea and a chat
  • Assisting with daily personal routines
  • Being the friendly face that brightens their day
  • Bringing peace of mind to their families

If you want to go home every day knowing you made a tangible, life-changing difference, this role is for you.

Work Locations

As part of our community team, you’ll be supporting clients across:

  • Highly Targeted Areas (URGENT vacancies!) – SS17 & SS18 (Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham).
  • Thurrock Area – Grays, Tilbury, Chadwell St Mary, Orsett, East Tilbury, Linford, Aveley, Purfleet-on-Thames, and Chafford Hundred.
  • Basildon Area – Basildon, Pitsea, South Ockendon, Langdon Hills, Laindon, Billericay, Wickford, and West Horndon.
  • Castle Point & Borders – Benfleet, Canvey Island, Rayleigh, Upminster, and Rainham.

Pay, Mileage & Guaranteed Hours

We believe great work deserves great pay. As a Care Professional, you’ll receive:

  • £12.71 – £13.21 per hour (dependent on shift times and experience).
  • Mileage paid for your travel between clients.
  • Guaranteed hours for the right candidates, ensuring security of work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
