Care Assistant – Residential Service
Location: Llandysul, SA44 6HS (South West Wales)
A passionate team at M&D Care is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Residential Service in Plwmp as Care Assistants. You’ll provide compassionate, person-centred support to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities—making a vital difference in their lives.
About the Role
Employment Type: Part-time (22.5 hrs/week), Full-time (37.5 or 45 hrs/week). Base Rate: Up to £13.45/hour (with higher rates for QCF Level 2 qualified candidates). Training: Full training provided on the job. Location Note: Job location in South West Wales—ability to drive (preferred).
National Minimum Sponsorship: No visa sponsorship available for this role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Care Assistant, your core duties will include:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care tailored to those with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.
- Assisting with daily living tasks, including:
- Personal hygiene and supportive care
- Meal preparation and dietary needs
- Medication management (with proper supervision)
- Shopping and errands
- Encouraging independence, dignity, and well-being through meaningful activities.
- Ensuring safeguarding and compliance with Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales standards.

Weekly Hours Flexibility
