Care Assistant – Taunton

Job Description
Spencer Care and Staffing Limited is recruiting Care Assistants to support care services across Taunton. We have a growing number of regular, pre-booked and last-minute shifts available. This role is ideal for experienced care workers looking for flexible hours and the opportunity to choose shifts around their availability.
Your Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality, person-centred care and support
- Assisting individuals with personal care where required
- Supporting mobility and daily living activities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting with meals and hydration
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Promoting dignity, independence, choice and respect
- Reporting any concerns or changes in an individual's wellbeing
- Working professionally with permanent care teams and other healthcare professionals
- Following safeguarding, infection control and health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working as a Care Assistant or Healthcare Assistant is preferred
- A caring, compassionate and professional approach
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible shifts
- Right to Work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to complete the required checks
- Relevant mandatory care training
