Job Description
Role Overview
Part-time, flexible hours | Driving licence and own vehicle required
- Pay: £13.50 per hour
- Bank Holidays: Double pay
- Mileage Allowance: 33p–45p per mile
- Training: Fully funded SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification and industry-leading training from day one

Key Responsibilities
- Companionship: Engage in conversations, outings, and activities that matter
- General housekeeping: Support with cooking, cleaning, and maintaining a homely environment
- Non-medical personal care: Provide assistance with daily living, fully trained by us
Requirements:
- Empathy, reliability, and strong communication skills
- Enthusiasm for making a real, positive impact on older adults' lives
- Full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to client locations across Inverclyde). Alternative transport arrangements only considered in exceptional cases.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Valid full driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Enhanced PBVG check (required for vulnerable adult work)
