✨ Support independence. Bring comfort. Make a real difference. ✨

At Guardian Homecare, part of City & County Healthcare Group, every day brings a new opportunity to improve someone’s life.

We are looking for compassionate and dependable Care Assistants to join our friendly Basildon branch. You’ll support people in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and connection to their local community.

This is much more than completing a list of tasks. It’s about building trusted relationships, offering companionship, and being the reassuring face that clients and their families can rely on.

Whether you’re helping someone begin their morning with dignity, preparing their favorite meal, or simply sharing a cup of tea and a conversation, your support will make a genuine difference.

🏡 What is homecare?

Unlike residential or hospital care, homecare enables people to continue living safely and independently in the place they know and love best—their own home.

You’ll visit clients within your local community, following personalized care plans and providing the practical and emotional support they need to live life their way.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
