Home Instead West Lothian – Care Assistant / Care Professional


About the Role

Company Description Home Instead West Lothian supports clients across Livingston, Linlithgow, Bathgate, Broxburn, Winchburgh, Whitburn—and every area in between. We seek compassionate individuals to join our team of Care Professionals / Care Assistants.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide personal care, companionship, and home help to older adults, enabling them to maintain independence at home.

No prior experience or qualifications are required. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds—whether from healthcare (NHS), retail, hospitality, childcare, customer service, or delivery driving. You’ll receive FULL training from the start.

What the Role Involves

To succeed in our team, you’ll juggle a fulfilling spectrum of daily tasks, ensuring your clients enjoy person-centred support tailored to their needs. A few potential duties:

  • Companionship: Engaging in rich social interactions, fostering Connection and joy.
  • Home help: : Assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
  • Companion appointments: Bringing clients to doctor’s visits, shopping, or outings.
  • Personal care: Offering support with daily routines—bathing, showering, grooming, and dressing.
