Home Instead Thornbury, Yate & Dursley are a part of the Home Instead Virtus Care Group who are a well-established, award-winning home care provider, supporting older people to live well and independently in the place they love most - their own home.

Our Thornbury office supports people living across Thornbury, Dursley, Berkeley, Yate, Almondsbury and all the surrounding areas.

The Care Assistant role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal care and wellbeing support
  • Assisting with medication
  • Light housekeeping tasks
  • Preparing meals and encouraging hydration
  • Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support

If you’re caring, friendly, and eager to learn, we’ll give you everything you need to succeed. Our industry-leading Care Skills Academy provides full training, mentoring, and qualifications to help you become an outstanding Care Assistant and grow your confidence every step of the way.

At Home Instead, we do care differently. Our visits are always a minimum of 1 hour, and you’ll see regular clients, giving you the time to build genuine relationships and deliver care you can be proud of.

  • £25.70 per hour on Bank Holidays

What do we need from you?

Due to the nature of the role, we need you be be aged 18 or over and a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desired.

We also require an alternate weekend working (both Saturday & Sunday).
