Role Description
This full-time Care Assistant role is based in Braintree district, completing client visits in the local area. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Providing practical and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care
- Helping clients with daily living activities such as dressing, bathing, and mobility
- Offering companionship
- Monitoring changes in wellbeing
- Communicating concerns to the care team and family members as appropriate

The role also involves:
- Following care plans
- Maintaining accurate records
- Supporting individuals with dementia or complex needs
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent and respectful care
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, listen actively, and maintain clear, respectful interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Caregiving experience and dementia care knowledge to support individuals with varying physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Manual handling skills and an understanding of safe mobility practices to assist clients while minimizing risk of injury.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing client needs in a hybrid work environment.
- Basic IT skills to complete digital care notes and communicate using email or care management systems.
- Relevant care qualification or training (e.g., NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or equivalent) is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, and person-centered care principles.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo background checks and necessary training.
