Shifts: 7am–2:30pm or 2:30pm–10pm

Make a difference every day

We’re looking for a warm, caring and compassionate Care Assistant to join our friendly team at Showell Court in Wolverhampton.

Showell Court is a welcoming extra care service supporting people to live independently, with access to a friendly and supportive care team. Residents have their own private, self-contained apartments and access to a range of facilities on their doorstep.

You’ll build positive relationships with residents and support them with their daily routines, activities of daily living and personal care. You’ll also assist with mealtimes, support effective communication and accurately record and report your work.

Care is delivered within one building, so there is no requirement to travel within the community.

The role operates on a two-week rolling rota, covering weekends and bank holidays. Shifts are either 7am–2:30pm or 2:30pm–10pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break.

You’ll ideally have experience working in a care environment and a genuine passion for supporting others.
