The Role
This particular post will be purely for waking nights and is working 23.34 hours per week.
Due to the expansion of our service, we are seeking a waking night care assistant to join our team.
We are looking for a Care Assistant to support our existing team in providing individualised care and support to the people who access our service.
Levick Court offers short stay breaks for adults with learning disabilities and is a 24-hour service. The building is purpose built, which ensures that we can meet the needs of a wide range of individuals who access our service.
We have spacious communal areas including multi-purpose activity rooms, sensory room, media room and secure gardens available to those accessing our services. We have domestic and catering staff on site; however, this role does involve some additional housekeeping duties.
We are looking for caring, fun, creative individuals, who can work collaboratively with our team to ensure that the people that use our service enjoy their stays.
This role will appeal to you if you have a passion for helping others, you like being involved in activities with the people that you support.

Key Duties Of The Care Assistant Post Will Include
- To follow individualised plans of care.
- To support service users in their chosen activities.
- Be committed to a customer led service.
- To work as directed by senior staff.
You will need to have good communication skills which will assist in keeping people engaged during their stay.
If successful, you will be joining a friendly supportive team that is passionate about delivering excellent care services to all. It is desirable, though not essential, that applicants have experience of working with adults who have learning disabilities.
