About St James’ Park Care Home

St James’ Park Care Home is a 31 bed care home located in the charming village of Bradpole, near Bridport in Dorset. Providing residential and nursing care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.

Care Assistant Contract

  • Hourly Rate: £13.15 to £13.95
  • Contracted Hours: [XX] hours per week
  • Benefits:
    • Paid [PVG/DBS] pension
    • Uniform provided
    • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing
    • Help residents feel comfortable, respected and valued
    • Follow care plans and recognize changes in condition
    • Contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care

  • NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards
