About St James’ Park Care Home
St James’ Park Care Home is a 31 bed care home located in the charming village of Bradpole, near Bridport in Dorset. Providing residential and nursing care, the home offers a warm and welcoming environment where colleagues work together to deliver high quality, person centred care and make a real difference to the lives of Residents every day.
Care Assistant Contract
- Hourly Rate: £13.15 to £13.95
- Contracted Hours: [XX] hours per week
- Benefits:
- Paid [PVG/DBS] pension
- Uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)
Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
- Responsibilities:
- Support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing
- Help residents feel comfortable, respected and valued
- Follow care plans and recognize changes in condition
- Contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care

What We Are Looking For

- Previous experience is beneficial but not essential
- NVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards
