Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Kent

About the Role

We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes across Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent. Part of a brand-new local office, we’re excited to find caring individuals who want to make a real difference.

Ideal candidates offer:

  • A friendly, compassionate attitude
  • No formal experience required (full training provided!)
  • Availability for flexible part-time shifts (morning/afternoon), including occasional weekends

At Home Instead Deal, Sandwich & Dover, care is delivered unhurriedly, with visits lasting at least one hour to build genuine connections.


Responsibilities

You’ll provide personal, meaningful care, including:

  • Assistance with personal care, mobility and daily tasks
  • Preparing meals, hot drinks, and maintaining safe homes
  • Offering companionship—listening, conversing and brightening someone’s day
  • Light household support tailored to clients’ needs
  • Optional additional health-related support (covered under full paid training)

Requirements

Essential

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence and an accessible vehicle
  • Clear English with strong communication skills
  • Evidence of innate warmth, patience and caring (past support of loved ones or willingness to help counts!)

Provided by Employer

  • All training & Care Certificate fully funded
  • No prior care experience required

Hours & Flexibility

Shifts available:

  • Morning: 07:00 - 14:00
  • Afternoon: 14:00 - 21:00
  • Monday to Friday, with some alternate weekend commitments.

Hours will vary as we build our client base.
