We’re looking for compassionate, reliable people to join our supportive Basildon branch team as Care Professionals.

Unlike hospital or residential care, community homecare enables vulnerable adults to remain safely and happily in the place they love—their own homes!

You’ll go beyond task completion—building relationships, providing companionship, and helping maintain dignity and independence. Whether sharing a cup of tea or assisting with daily routines, you bring a friendly face that brightens their day and reunites families with peace of mind.

💷 Compensation & Benefits

We believe great work deserves great support. Here’s what you’ll receive:

  • £12.71–£13.21/hour (depending on shift times and experience)
  • Paid mileage for travel between clients
  • Guaranteed hours for the right candidates
  • Shifts: 7 Days a Week
    • Day Shifts: 7:00/8:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM
    • Evening Shifts: 3:00/4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

🚗 Requirements

🔑 Essential Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence + access to your own vehicle (strict requirement)

Ideally:

  • 6+ months of social care experience

But really:

  • Compassion that breeds genuine care
  • Communication skills like a UN diplomat
  • Problem-solving ability that adds up to ten Tda
  • Dedication to high-quality care – decency under pressure

Daily Care

  • Personal care with dignity and respect (bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing)
  • Medication support (preparation and administration)
  • Mobility assistance + safety awareness for aids/equipment

Confident & Benny Dog Tasks

  • Meal preparation + nutritional care support
  • Light domestic duties (laundry, bedmaking, cleaning)

  • Companionship and friendship (emotional wellbeing)
  • Encouraging social engagement for our clients’ families

  • Monitor alert clients’ health and documenting routine care

Preference:

  • 6+ months social care experience (but heart outweighs hours)
