Company Description
Pay:
- £14.25 per hour for day shifts
- £14.75 per hour for night shifts
Shifts:
- Day shifts – £14.25 per hour
- Monday: 10am – 3pm
- Tuesday: 10am – 4pm
- Wednesday: 10am – 3pm
- Night shift – £14.75 per hour
- Wednesday: 9.30pm – 7.30am
We are looking for at least two Care Assistants to join this package, with one person primarily covering the day shifts and another primarily covering the Wednesday night shift.
Please note that if you are joining us to work the night shift, you will initially need to work some of the day shifts. This will allow you to get to know the client, complete your training and be signed off as competent before working independently at night.
A driving licence is not required for this role.

Job Description
What you’ll do
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop and enhance your skills in complex care.
You will be supporting a young man who lives at home with his family.
Our day shifts are focused on activities, engagement and supporting him to enjoy his day. You’ll work alongside the existing 2:1 day team, supporting him with his day-to-day activities. He enjoys getting out for walks with his care team and family, as well as spending time in his room enjoying sensory lights and music.
Our Wednesday night shift is a 1:1 waking night and is more focused on monitoring, observing and checking his wellbeing throughout the night. This includes monitoring seizures caused by epilepsy and supporting with non-invasive ventilation when required.

Anyone joining the package specifically for the night shift will first work alongside the day team to build a relationship with the client and complete all required training and competency sign-offs before moving onto lone night shifts.
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We are looking for people who are excited to enhance and learn new skills. Experience in complex care would be beneficial, but is not essential for this role as we will provide full training.
You do not need to be a driver for this position.
