Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent

About At Home Instead

We’re a new office in the community looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in Deal, Sandwich & Dover. This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we grow and build meaningful relationships that make a real difference.

The Role

We offer a part-time position with the following shift options:

  • Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
  • Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00

Shifts are available Monday to Friday, with alternate weekends required. Hours will initially vary as we expand our client base, but flexibility is key.

Our approach to care revolves around personalised, rewarding service — every visit is a minimum of one hour, allowing you time to build genuine connections and provide genuine support.

  • Personal care and mobility assistance
  • Meal preparations and comforting accompaniments (e.g., tea, companionship)

Benefits & Compensation

  • Hourly rate: £14.25–£15.50 per hour + 35p per mile

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence (car access required)
  • Clear, confident communication skills
  • A genuine passion for helping people live independently with dignity
  • A friendly, caring attitude

We will provide further support on training and resources needed to excel in this role.
