We’re looking for compassionate, reliable people to join our supportive Basildon branch team as Care Professionals.

Work Locations
As part of our community team, you’ll support clients across: 🚨 Highly Targeted Areas (URGENT Vacancies!):
- SS17 & SS18 (Stanford-le-Hope and Corringham).
Thurrock Area:
- Grays, Tilbury, Chadwell St Mary, Orsett, East Tilbury & Linford
- Aveley, Purfleet-on-Thames, Chafford Hundred
Basildon Area:
- Basildon, Pitsea, South Ockendon, Langdon Hills
- Laindon, Billericay, Wickford, West Horndon
Castle Point & Borders:
- Benfleet, Canvey Island, Rayleigh, Upminster, Rainham
Pay Rates & Perks
- £12.71 to £13.21 per hour (depending on shift times and experience).
- ❄️ Mileage paid for client travel
- ✨ Guaranteed hours for the right candidates (providing job security).
- 7 Days A Week Shifts:
- Day Shifts: 7:00/8:00 AM – 3:00/4:00 PM
- Evening Shifts: 3:00/4:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing
Every day as a Care Assistant is unique, but your impact is always life-changing. You’ll: ✨ Support people to remain happy and independent in their own homes, as part of a close-knit, local team.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Personal care with dignity and respect:
- Bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming
- Medication assistance: Safe preparation & administration
- Mobility support: Empowering movement (and ensuring proper use of mobility aids)
- Meal preparation: Cooking & offering mealtime support
- Light domestic duties: Laundry, bed-making, cleaning
- Companionship: Building meaningful relationships through reassurance
✨ Additional Support:
- Encourage social contacts with families and community groups
- Monitor clients’ health, reporting changes to care teams
- Maintain accurate care records
- Handle emergencies safely and quickly
- Collaborate with loved ones and care managers for holistic care
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
The perfect candidate will ideally have:
- At least 6 months of experience in social care (though we value kindness and willingness to learn even more).

📅 What We Need: ✔️ A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for travel between clients). ✔️ Right to work in the UK (we are unable to sponsor visas).
