Care Assistant – Days & Nights | Full Time
Glenholme Senior Living – Bispham Gardens
Location: Glenholme Bispham Gardens, Blackpool, FY2 0FN
Salary: £13.00 per hour
Hours: 33 hours per week, including alternate weekends
Sponsorship: Not available

Your Role as a Care Assistant
This is more than a job – it’s an opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of our residents.
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents to live as independently as possible while maintaining their dignity, choice and wellbeing.
Your main duties will include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting residents with personal care and hygiene
- Assisting residents with mobility around the home
- Supporting with medication
- General housework, cleaning and tidying
- Preparing meals and supporting residents with eating
- Encouraging residents to remain active and involved in activities
- Supporting residents to participate in community and home-based activities
- Building positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues

Where You’ll Be Working
Glenholme Senior Living Bispham Gardens is located in a peaceful residential area of Blackpool.
Our home provides care for mature and older people with varying needs, including dementia, nursing and end-of-life care.
The home has 52 beds, with an additional 24-room expansion opened in 2021. You’ll be joining a compassionate and experienced team who put residents at the heart of everything they do.
