Areas we cover are part of = Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Markinch, Leven, Cupar, Ladybank, Falkland, St Andrews and East Neuk.

EARLY BIRD SHIFT
- Hours vary between 8am-2.30pm Monday to Friday with every third weekend required
BACK SHIFT
- Hours vary between 2.30pm-10pm Monday to Friday with every third weekend required

WEEKEND POSITION
- Weekends will vary between 8am-9pm both Saturday and Sunday
SLEEPING & WAKENING NIGHTS
- 10 HOUR shift

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Being a Care Professional is an essential role supporting older people to live well at home. With the support of our team and industry-leading training, you can feel fully equipped to deliver the high-quality care Home Instead has become known for.
Here's what it would involve:
- Minimum 1-hour visits
- Introductions to all new clients
- Visiting the same Clients for continuity of care and to allow you to build up a meaningful relationship
- Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
- Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
- Accompanying to appointments or shopping
- Personal Care - Supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.

Qualifications
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Professional as full training is given. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience. You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy, and respectful. Also, a sense of humour certainly helps.
