About The Role
Care Assistant – East Grinstead
£13.80–£15.00 per hour weekdays | £14.80–£16.00 weekends | Paid travel time
East Grinstead, Edenbridge & surrounding areas
Trinity Homecare is growing its services around East Grinstead, and we're looking for caring, reliable people from the area to join our team.
While we're growing our client base in East Grinstead, most of our current care hours are in and around Edenbridge and across our wider service area. You'll need to be happy travelling to these clients while our East Grinstead service grows.
This is a visiting care role, so you'll need a full UK driving licence and your own car.
When we need you
We're Looking For Care Assistants Who Can Offer
- Weekday availability across mornings and/or evenings
- Alternate weekends – both Saturday and Sunday
We'll discuss your availability and how this matches the hours our clients currently need.
Your pay
- Weekdays (Monday–Friday): £13.80–£15.00 per hour
- Weekends (Saturday–Sunday): £14.80–£16.00 per hour
- Travel time between clients: £13.80 per hour
- Mileage: 45p per mile
Where you'll work
We already have an established client base around Edenbridge, making East Grinstead well placed for Care Assistants who are happy to travel to our existing clients while we develop more opportunities closer to East Grinstead.

Our wider service area includes Edenbridge, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Westerham, Oxted, Biggin Hill and surrounding areas.
As our East Grinstead service grows, we want to build a strong local care team ready to support that growth.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll visit clients in their own homes, helping them remain safe, comfortable and as independent as possible.
Your Visits Could Include
- Companionship and conversation
- Personal care and helping clients get ready for their day
- Preparing meals and supporting with medication
- Shopping and light household tasks
- Accompanying clients to appointments or activities
- Encouraging independence and wellbeing
- Following individual care plans and recording the support you provide
What we're looking for
Previous care experience is welcome, but it isn't essential. We'll provide the training and support you need.
You'll Need To Be
- Caring, patient and compassionate
- Reliable and comfortable working independently
- A good communicator
- Available during the week and on alternate weekends
- Willing to travel from East Grinstead to existing clients around Edenbridge and across our wider service area
- A full UK driving licence holder with access to your own car
- Eligible to work in the UK
