Live-In Care Worker – 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off – Barnet Area
Salary: £600 per week
Location: Barnet, London
Start Date: Immediate / Flexible
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Care Worker to provide 1:1 support to a young adult with learning disabilities in the Barnet area. This is a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off live-in rota role offering stable, rewarding work in a supportive environment.
About The Role
- Supporting a young adult with daily living needs
- Monday–Friday: client attends college, returns home around 4:00 pm
- Use of ceiling or full-body hoist required
- Assisting with moving and handling techniques
- PEG feeding experience is a plus (training provided)
- Working alongside another care worker during double-up shifts

Requirements
- Previous experience in care essential
- Confident using hoists and manual handling equipment
- Mature, empathetic, and patient – client prefers a young yet mature individual
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the client’s specific needs
