Job Description We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Evening/Weekend Care Assistant to join our team in Brighton, United Kingdom. As an Evening/Weekend Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and care to our clients in their homes during the evening hours. Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary requirements Perform light housework to maintain a clean and safe living environment Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Accompany clients to evening appointments or social activities when required Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns Collaborate with other care team members to ensure continuity of care Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary Qualifications To work for us, you must: Have the Right to Work in UK Hold a full UK Driving Licence and own transport (if applicable) Consent to an enhanced DBS check Be over 18 Please note that we are not offering sponsorship at this time. You will be a special sort of person with: Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (preferred) Flexibility to work evenings and or weekends Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures BENEFITS: -Introductions to clients -Enhanced rates of pay for evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays -Free award winning, nationally accredited Care Certificate Induction -Home Instead Benefits -Blue Light Card Discounts
