Job Description

Cera are recruiting Night Care Assistants for our Extra Care service in Bure House in Highcliffe, Christchurch.

We are specifically hiring for night shifts, running from 10pm until 7am. If you’re looking for stable overnight work where you can genuinely make a difference, this could be the perfect role for you.

Are you kind? A people person? Someone who loves making a difference in people's lives? Then we can offer you a rewarding role as a Carer, where you will have a real impact every day. No experience required.

We’re recruiting for part-time and full-time permanent positions. It’s secure work with good pay, great training and a supportive team.

Extra Care units offer residents their own self-contained living space within a larger building, with care staff based on-site to provide personalised support. As a Care Assistant in our Extra Care Unit, you’ll help residents live as independently as possible, following tailored care and support plans.

Every client’s needs are different. You may help with light housework, support with morning or bedtime routines, prepare a hot meal, assist with medication, or help with washing and dressing. More importantly, you’ll offer companionship, reassurance and kindness—often when life feels challenging. Caring isn’t always easy, but families will be grateful that you were there.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
