Fixed Rota

Alexandra House, Ludlow

Looking for a care role where you can really get to know the people you support?

Alexandra House is a friendly 20-bed residential care home in Ludlow, providing care and support to older people.

Being a smaller home means our team can get to know our residents properly and provide genuinely personal care.

Previous care experience is preferred but it isn’t essential. If you have the right attitude, genuinely care about people and are willing to learn, we can provide the training and support you need.

What you’ll be doing

As a Care Assistant, you’ll help residents live comfortably, safely and with as much independence as possible.

Your role will include:

  • Supporting residents with personal care and everyday routines
  • Helping with mobility, meals and dietary needs
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Promoting dignity, independence and choice
  • Supporting residents’ wellbeing
  • Keeping accurate care records
  • Working closely with colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
