Company Description

Home Instead Portsmouth is rated Outstanding by the CQC. Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services to help clients remain independent, happy, and comfortable in their own homes. We treat our clients with dignity and respect, as we do our own family. We believe building relationships is important; our Care Professionals are paired with clients based on mutual interests and have minimum 1 hour visits to provide time to care. At Home Instead Portsmouth, we believe that everyone deserves exceptional care, support, and the opportunity to live a better life. We're looking for compassionate, reliable individuals who share our values and want to make a genuine difference in their local community.

Job Description

No two days are the same in care.

  • One visit may involve sharing a cup of tea, completing a crossword, or enjoying a conversation.
  • The next may involve providing personal care and practical support to help someone remain safe and independent in their own home.

We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, adaptable, and able to approach every situation with empathy, professionalism, and respect.

When you join us, you'll agree a regular working pattern that fits your availability. The evening Block of working time is 5pm-10pm and you will be allocated visits within this time. (This can be negotiated under certain circumstances) We simply ask that you remain consistent with your chosen schedule wherever possible to provide safe continuity of care.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
