Full Time | Community Care | Portsmouth & Surrounding Areas (25–35 Hours)

No previous care experience? No problem. We provide full paid training and ongoing support, giving you everything you need to confidently begin a rewarding career in care.

We're particularly looking for people who can commit to 25+ hours per week, with opportunities to work up to 35 hours depending on your availability.

What you'll be doing

You'll help older and vulnerable adults remain independent, safe and comfortable in their own homes by providing:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Personal care
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication support
  • Light household tasks
  • Shopping and community outings
  • Support with daily routines
  • Encouraging independence and wellbeing

No two visits are ever the same, but every visit gives you the opportunity to make a genuine difference to someone's day.

If you've worked in customer service, administration, retail, hospitality, education, childcare or another people-focused role, many of your existing skills will transfer perfectly into care.

Hours & Availability

We're currently recruiting full-time Care Assistants looking for 25+ hours per week, with opportunities for up to 35 hours depending on availability.

To provide consistent care for our clients, you must be able to commit to:

  • ✅ At least 2 evening shifts per week, approximately 4:00pm–10:00pm
  • ✅ Alternate weekends – Saturday and/or Sunday
  • ✅ Availability across a range of morning, afternoon and evening shifts
  • ✅ 25+ hours per week

Please note: The ability to work at least two evenings per week (4:00pm–10:00pm) and alternate weekends is an essential requirement for this role.
