Job Description

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you will build meaningful relationships with regular clients and provide high-quality, person-centred care to support them in their own homes.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Personal care and daily support
  • Meal preparation and medication assistance
  • Companionship, conversation, and reassurance
  • Support with outings, appointments, and pet care

  • Full-Time Availability: Flexible across split shifts between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
  • Part-Time Morning Availability: Shifts between 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Paid client introductions are provided so you feel confident, supported, and familiar with your clients from day one.

What We Offer

  • Pay Rate: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour
  • Travel Pay: Paid travel time, paid waiting time, plus 45p per mile mileage allowance
  • Holiday: 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)
  • Pension: Company pension scheme
  • Development: Full training provided to achieve your Care Certificate and beyond
  • Support: Ongoing support from a welcoming, local team

Requirements

  • Driving license and access to a reliable vehicle (recommended depending on local routes)
  • A caring, compassionate nature
  • Previous care experience is preferred, but full training is provided for the right candidate

Qualifications

  • A caring, dependable, and professional approach
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to the rural nature of our client base)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process.
