Love music, making people smile and providing thoughtful, personalised care?
At HFH Healthcare, we're looking for a compassionate, reliable and adaptable Female Complex Care Assistant to support a cheerful young woman with complex care needs in her family home in Harlow.
Our client loves listening to music, playing with her favourite toys and enjoying sensory activities. Her favourite songs can instantly brighten her mood!
Although she communicates non-verbally, she has her own ways of expressing herself. She sometimes enjoys plenty of interaction and entertainment, while at other times she prefers quiet, relaxed moments.
We're looking for someone who can recognise these preferences, adapt naturally and provide calm, attentive support.
Our client is also sensitive to noise, particularly at night, so being considerate, gentle and mindful of her environment is especially important.
This is a lovely opportunity to build a meaningful relationship with one client and make a positive difference to her everyday comfort, happiness and wellbeing.
What will you be doing?
- Providing personalised care and support with daily routines.
- Engaging our client through music, toys and activities she enjoys.
- Recognising her non-verbal communication and responding to her preferences.
- Creating a calm, comfortable environment, particularly during night shifts.
- Supporting personal care, continence care and intermittent catheterisation.
- Assisting with Mickey-button feeding and stoma care.
- Supporting medication administration in line with training and care plans.
- Assisting with repositioning and mobility while following individual positioning guidance.
- Monitoring comfort, wellbeing and any changes in her presentation.
- Working closely with her family and the wider clinical team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
