Home Care Assistant
Location: Wood Green & North London
Pay: £15.00 per hour
Contract: Flexible / Zero-Hours
About the Role
Epty Care is growing and we're looking for compassionate, reliable Home Care Assistants who want to be part of our journey.
You'll support clients to live safely and independently in their own homes, providing high-quality, person-centred care across Wood Green and North London.
We're looking for people who take pride in delivering great care and want the opportunity to grow with us as Epty Care continues to develop.
What You'll Do
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Support clients with mobility and everyday activities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meals, hydration, and light household tasks
- Provide medication support where trained and assessed as competent
- Follow individual care plans and risk assessments
- Maintain accurate digital care records
- Identify and report any changes or safeguarding concerns
- Support clients with appointments, shopping, and community activities where required
- Maintain clients' dignity, privacy, and independence at all times

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Completed Care Certificate covering all 16 standards, with evidence of completion
- Enhanced DBS registered with the DBS Update Service
- Right to Work in the UK
- Satisfactory references and employment history
- Good written and spoken English
- Ability to use a smartphone for digital care records
- Reliable, compassionate, and professional
- Able to travel to clients across Wood Green and North London
Depending on the care package:
- Moving & Handling training and competency
- Medication training and competency
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle
