Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing (Care, Connection & Kindness)
- Providing genuine companionship—sharing conversation, offering tea, and bringing warmth during brighter spring days.
- Supporting daily routines such as dressing, personal care, bathing, and grooming—helping clients feel comfortable and confident in their day.
- Preparing nourishing meals (light lunches to comforting evening meals) to support health and wellbeing.
- Providing medication reminders (full training included) to assist clients with their health routines.
- Assisting with light household tasks to keep homes safe, tidy, and welcoming.
- Offering reassurance and emotional support—being a calm, reliable presence clients look forward to seeing.
- Completing simple care notes to ensure families and the wider team can provide the best possible support.

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For in a Care Professional
- Kind, empathetic, and emotionally aware—skilled in listening and reassurance.
- Life experience & maturity—bring patience, calm, and reliability.
- Dependable & trustworthy—clients and families must know they can rely on you.
- Strong communication skills—comfortable building relationships and working as a team.
- Flexible & adaptable—able to meet individual routine needs.
- Willing to learn—full training provided; no prior experience required.
- Physically able to assist with mobility and personal care safely.
- Driving licence required (access to a car essential).
