Job Description
As a CARE Professional at Shoreham, Petts Wood & Longfield, you will travel to clients’ homes and provide a range of care services that enable them to continue living independently in their own homes.
At Home Instead, we provide non-medical services (personal care, house-help, and companionship), and we’re looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a genuine difference to our clients’ quality of life.

Some necessary requirements include:
- Weekend availability
- A full UK driving licence
This role could involve:
- Morning routines, including personal care such as bathing
- Evening routines before bed
- Helping with jobs around the home
- Cooking meals
- Taking clients shopping or to appointments
- Driving them to day centres, church, or local activities
- Encouraging hobbies and interests
- Or simply providing them with company and companionship 💜

Qualifications
You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a CARE Professional. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. Possible experience for the role would include:
- A personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.
- Passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and respectful.
- Enjoying building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.
