Company Description

Home Instead is the world’s leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our caregivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support.

The Role/Benefits

  • Pay rates from £13.50 per hour (Monday to Friday) and £14.00 per hour (Saturday and Sunday).
  • £27.00 per hour on 10 Bank Holidays.
  • Spend 1 hour or longer with every client, see the same clients at the same times every week!
  • Travel time between homes.
  • Progression opportunities into senior positions such as Senior Care Staff, Supervisor, Management & other business area's.
  • Update our app on each visit so family members can see how their loved ones are getting on throughout the day.

Job Description

We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team. As a CAREGiver, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help them live independently in their own home.

You will have a passion for supporting others and pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service. You will be reliable, trustworthy and respectful. You will enjoy building professional friendships and comfortable in spending time in the company of others.

Qualifications

All we ask from you is:

  • A friendly and approachable manner with a desire to help others.
  • Committed and reliable; our clients will depend on you.
  • Full valid driving licence and access to your own car is required.
  • Previous care experience is not required, training and on-going support will be provided.

Additional Information

This position is based in Larne but could also range to Ballymena, Carrickfergus, Ballyclare and other local areas. We are requiring someone with full availability on a Tuesday and Wednesday. This could lead to more hours/ days in the future if desired.
