Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Kent
About The Role & Company
We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes in the Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent area.
We are a brand-new local team and are looking for caring individuals who genuinely want to make a difference and be part of something exciting and growing.
Work Schedule
This is a part-time role with flexible shift options:
- Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
- Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00
- Shifts are available Monday to Friday, with alternate weekends required.
Hours will vary as we build up our client base, so join us to be part of something new, exciting, and growing.
What You’ll Be Doing
At Home Instead, we provide care in a dignified, personal way:
- Visits are at least one hour long, allowing for meaningful connections
- No rushing; genuine, patient support

Your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting older adults with personal care and mobility
- Preparing meals and hot drinks
- Assisting with light household tasks
- Offering companionship, conversation, and a friendly presence
- Some visits may also involve health-related support (paid training provided, no prior experience needed)

No experience is required—we provide full training and support:

Compensation & Benefits
- £14.25–£15.70 per hour + 35p per mile

Qualifications & Requirements
You’ll need:
- Right to work in the UK
- Full driving licence and ready access to a vehicle
- Clear communication skills in English
- A warm, patient, and caring attitude
