Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Deal & Dover, Kent
About the Role We are seeking kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes across Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent. As a new local office, we’re looking for caring individuals passionate about making a difference and being part of a growing, exciting community.
This part-time role offers flexible shift options:
- Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
- Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00
- Shifts available Monday–Friday, with required alternate weekends
- Hours may vary as our client base expands.

Job Description

At Home Instead, every visit lasts at least an hour. The goal is meaningful, patient care that genuinely improves someone’s day, not rushed assistance.
What You’ll Do
You’ll assist older adults with:
- Personal care and mobility
- Preparing meals and hot drinks
- Light household tasks to maintain safety and comfort
- Providing companionship and conversation, fostering genuine connections

Key Requirements
No Experience? No Problem!

- The Care Certificate (UK standard for care workers), fully funded
What we look for: ✔ Right to work in the UK ✔ A full UK driving licence with reliable vehicle access (travel reimbursement: £0.35 per mile) ✔ Clear, confident English communication skills ✔ A warm, patient, and caring nature
