Company Description
Location: Covering Pewsey, Marlborough, and Devizes
Pay: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour
At Home Instead, we believe care is personal. We support older adults to remain independent, comfortable, and connected in their own homes, and we’re looking for kind, compassionate people to join our friendly local team.
About the Role
As a Morning Care Assistant, you will help our clients start their day with confidence and comfort. You’ll build meaningful, lasting relationships with regular clients and deliver high-quality, person-centred care in their homes.
Your morning responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with morning routines and personal care
- Preparing nutritious breakfasts and assisting with medication
- Providing companionship, warm conversation, and reassurance
- Supporting clients with morning appointments, errands, or pet care
Working With Us
Hours: Part-time morning shifts available between 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Pattern: Alternate weekends required (with a mid-week day off in lieu)
Confidence from Day One: Paid client introductions are provided so you feel fully supported and familiar with your regular clients before starting independent visits.
What We Offer
- Competitive Pay: £13.50 – £15.00 per hour
- Travel Benefits: Paid travel time, paid waiting time, plus a 45p per mile allowance

Requirements
- A compassionate, reliable, and person-centred approach
- Availability to work morning shifts starting from 7:00 AM, including alternate weekends
- Access to reliable transport to travel between client homes across Pewsey, Marlborough, and Devizes
- No prior experience required—full training and ongoing mentorship provided!

Qualifications
- A caring, dependable, and professional approach
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential due to the rural nature of our client base)
- Right to work in the UK
- An enhanced DBS check will be required as part of the recruitment process. Please note, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship.
