At Home Instead Dover, Deal & Sandwich: Care Assistant – Part-Time Roles

Company Description

We’re seeking kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes across Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent.

As a brand-new office, we’re looking for caring individuals who are passionate about making a genuine difference and embracing something new and exciting.

This part-time role offers flexible shift options:

  • Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
  • Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00 With Monday to Friday availability and alternate weekend shifts. Hours may vary as we grow, but if you love joining a dynamic, rewarding team, you’re in the right place!

Home Instead prides itself on "Care as it should be"—unhurried, personal, and meaningful. Our visits last at least an hour so we can build real connections that brighten someone’s day.


Job Description

What You’ll Do

You’ll provide compassionate, hands-on support to older adults in their homes, including:

  • Personal care and mobility assistance
  • Meal preparation and hot drinks
  • Light household tasks to ensure their home is safe and comfortable
  • Companionship, conversation, and friendly engagement

  • No prior care experience? No problem! We train, support, and empower you from day one.
  • We’re looking for people who embody the right values and attitude, such as:

Qualifications & Eligibility

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Valid UK driving licence (and access to a car)
  • Clear communication skills (both written and spoken)
