Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Kent
Company Overview
We’re a brand-new office in the local Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent community, dedicated to providing compassionate, unhurried care for older adults in their own homes. We’re looking for kind, reliable, and caring individuals who want to make a real difference as part of our growing team.
About the Role
This is a part-time, flexible role with shifts to support older adults in their daily lives.
Shift Options:
- Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
- Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00
Availability:
- Monday to Friday, with alternate weekend shifts required.
- Hours will vary as we expand our client base—but if you’re eager to join a new, dynamic team, we’d love to have you.
Care Philosophy: "At Home Instead, our visits are at least an hour long—no rushing, just meaningful care that makes a genuine difference."
Responsibilities
Support older adults with:
- Personal care and mobility assistance
- Meal preparation and hot drink service
- Light household tasks to maintain a comfortable, safe living environment
- Companionship, conversation, and friendly interactions
- Personal health-related support (fully funded training available—no experience required)

Requirements & What You’ll Bring
We don’t require any prior care or medical experience, but we’re looking for people with the right attitude and values, such as: ✅ Experience jz///caring for family/friends? (Not necessary but appreciated!) ✅ A friendly, approachable personality – able to talk easily and put people at ease ✅ *A genuine desire to help and improve someone’s day ✅ Full driving licence and access to a car (mileage paid at 35p per mile) ✅ Clear English and strong communication skills ✅ A warm, patient, and caring nature
