Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Kent
About the Role
We’re looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes across the Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent area. As a brand-new office in the local community, we seek caring individuals passionate about making a difference and contributing to something exciting and growing.
This part-time role offers:
- Morning shifts: 07:00 – 14:00
- Afternoon shifts: 14:00 – 21:00
- Flexible scheduling (Monday–Friday) with alternate weekends required.
- Opportunities to be part of a dynamic, expanding team where hours will vary as we grow our client base.
Job Description
Care Approach: Unhurried, Personal, Rewarding
At Home Instead, visits last at least an hour, allowing time for meaningful, compassionate care that genuinely enriches older adults’ days.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting older adults with:
- Personal care & mobility
- Preparing meals and hot drinks
- Light household tasks to maintain safety and comfort
- Providing companionship, engaging in conversation, and facilitating social connections

Hours & Commitment

Qualifications & Requirements
Must-Have Criteria:
- Right to work in the UK
- Full driving licence with access to a car (transport is essential)
- Clear English communication skills
- A gentle, patient, and compassionate mindset
