Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Sandwich & Dover, Kent
Company Description
We’re seeking kind, reliable Care Assistants to support older adults in their own homes across Deal, Sandwich, and Dover, Kent. As a brand-new local office, we’re building a team of caring individuals passionate about making a genuine difference while being part of something new, exciting, and community-focused.
This role offers flexible part-time shifts, including:
- Morning shifts: 07:00–14:00
- Afternoon shifts: 14:00–21:00 Shifts are available Monday to Friday, with alternate weekend duties required. Hours may vary as we expand—but if you want to be part of a growing, supportive team that delivers meaningful care, this is the role for you.

What You’ll Be Doing
Our motto: “Care as it should be—unhurried, personal, rewarding.” At Home Instead Kent, visits are at least one hour long—no rushing, just genuine, supportive care that truly makes a difference.
Assistance may include:
- Personal care & mobility support
- Meal preparation & hot drinks
- Light home maintenance to ensure safety and comfort
- Companionship—conversation, emotional support, and a friendly presence
- Optional health-related tasks (fully covered via paid training, so no prior experience or medical background needed!)

Hours & Flexibility
Flexible part-time shifts available:
- Morning (07:00–14:00) & afternoon (14:00–21:00)

Requirements

- Full, valid driving licence & access to a car (mileage reimbursed)
- Clear communication skills (fluent and approachable English)
