Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Kent

About At Home Instead Deal, Sandwich & Dover
We’re a brand-new community-focused office looking for kind, reliable Care Assistants to support and uplift older adults in their own homes across the Deal, Sandwich & Dover area.

The Care We Provide
"Care as it should be – unhurried, personal, rewarding." Our visits last at least an hour, with no rushing—just real, meaningful connections that get to the heart of what matters.
Key Responsibilities
You’ll support older adults with daily tasks while providing compassionate one-on-one support, including:
- Personal care & mobility assistance
- Meal preparation & homemade hot drinks
- Light household support to maintain safety & comfort
- Companionship & conversation (your warm presence makes their day)
- Gentle health-related support (fully covered training included—no prior experience or medical background required!)

Flexible Hours Available
- Morning shifts: 07:00–14:00
- Afternoon shifts: 14:00–21:00
- Alternate weekends mandatory to help maintain consistency
- Hours will vary as we expand—but we’ll communicate openly about scheduling changes.

Hourly Rate & Benefits
💰 Compensation
£14.25 - £15.70 per hour + 35p per mile

Requirements & Qualifications
What You’ll Need: ✅ Right to work in the UK ✅ Full UK driving licence (you’ll need to use your own car for home visits) ✅ Clear communication skills – empathy, patience, and a good command of English ✅ Warm, patient nature – we’ll encourage you to grow from there!
