Part-Time Care Assistant – Deal, Kent

About the Role

We are a brand-new Care Assistance office in the heart of Deal, Kent, offering meaningful shifts in Sandwich & Dover. We’re looking for kind, reliable, and caring individuals who genuinely want to make a difference—joining us means being part of something new, exciting, and rewarding.

Perfect for someone who enjoys companionship and practical help, this part-time role offers flexible shift options:

  • Morning shifts: 07:00–14:00
  • Afternoon shifts: 14:00–21:00
  • Monday to Friday (with alternate weekend shifts required)

As we build our client base, hours may vary, but if you’re ready for a fulfilling, growing team, this is the role for you.


Care as It Should Be

Home Instead champions "unhurried, personal, rewarding" care, with visits lasting at least one hour. No rushing—just genuine support that brightens someone’s day.


Your Responsibilities

You’ll deliver compassionate in-home care, assisting older adults with:

  • Personal care and mobility
  • Preparing meals, hot drinks, and simple nutrition
  • Light household maintenance to keep their living space safe
  • Companionship & friendship—friendliness makes the difference

Hours & Commitment

Requirements

To become part of our team, you’ll need to meet (or commit to):

  • Right to work in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence (owning/access to a car essential)
  • Clear spoken English & robust communication skills
